Promise alumnus Joshua Zuniga (Sound ’20, QU ’24) was featured by Yale New Haven 

Health. In an interview, Joshua shared his inspiring journey coming from a family with no health insurance to becoming a registered nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital’s Smilow Cancer Center. Supported by New Haven Promise, Joshua turned early challenges into motivation, building his skills and confidence through community service, academic achievement, and hands-on healthcare experiences.
