This summer, Trinity Higgins, a rising junior at the University of Connecticut and New Haven Promise scholar, brought her passion for healthcare and community service to the Yale School of Nursing (YSN). As one of 84 Promise interns placed across Yale, Trinity spent eight weeks supporting YSN’s Communications, Development, and Alumni Affairs teams. From publishing articles and updating faculty profiles to organizing campus tours, Trinity embraced every opportunity to grow her skills and confidence.
