The Back New Haven Night 2024 was truly an inspirational event. The Marcel Hotel was filled with over 250 of our university partners, corporate partners, supporters, and Promise Scholars all passionate about making a difference in our city. The Back New Haven Initiative, formally launched in April 2023, meets the city and regional needs for a diverse homegrown talent pipeline that develops leaders, strengthens neighborhoods and creates career opportunities for Promise Alumni. The Back New Haven Night also celebrated our longtime Promise leaders Peter Salovey, president of Yale University and Will Ginsberg, president and CEO of the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. Both of them served on the Promise board of directors for more than 11 years.
