University of Bridgeport and Mitchell College have announced new partnerships with New Haven Promise, expanding financial support for Promise Scholars enrolling at their institutions after high school graduation. University of Bridgeport will offer a $25,000 renewable scholarship to Promise Scholars, easing the financial burden and supporting students from enrollment through graduation. Mitchell College will provide $19,000 annually, plus on-campus employment opportunities, while Scholars live on campus and participate in community outreach. Both awards are in addition to the New Haven Promise scholarship of up to $5,000 per year. These partnerships strengthen the Promise network, making higher education more accessible and helping to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the New Haven community.
