2. Yale Teaching Fellowship
Promise alumni aspiring to become teachers or currently working full-time at New Haven Public Schools as teachers, paraprofessionals, or student-facing support staff are encouraged to apply for the Yale Teaching Fellowship program. Benefits include but not limited to:
- Free tuition* at SCSU
- Living stipend of up to $46,000**. Terms apply.
- Teacher certification and a Master’s degree in a shortage area.
* Tuition does not cover non-mandatory fees or any past due bills for previous SCSU enrollment; fellows are responsible for resolving any unpaid SCSU bills before starting the fellowship.
