The NAACP unveiled the new postage stamp at the Q House featuring New Haven’s own Constance Baker Motley.
A graduate of Hillhouse High School, Baker Motley argued 10 Supreme Court cases (winning nine). She worked hand-in-hand with Thurgood Marshall to win the Brown v. Board of Education case of Topeka, Kan.
Promise Alumna and recent Quinnipiac School of Law graduate Fontaine Chambers is pictured at the event with a facsimile of the stamp.
